Career & About April

April landed her first job way back in the 1980’s, at Royal Insurance in Manchester during the 6 weeks holidays whilst waiting for college to start…  college immediately took a back seat, and April has remained in insurance ever since.

After 6 or 7 years, and lots of sound training, April was lured away to the broking side, by one of the National Brokers she dealt with.  April has since worked in a variety of different types of brokerage, and has come to realise the vastly different mentalities of the owners of said brokerages, means vastly different work ethics!

She loves it here at PHP, having known the partners many many years, because our ethics here are sound. We CARE about our clients, and their businesses, and so does April. This is why clients trust her, and she is excellent at taking the pain out of insurance.

Fun Facts

• Favourite Sport or Hobby – I love to ice skate and once appeared as a door, and a flamingo, in a production of Alice in Wonderland on Ice
• Children? – Yes, 2 teenage girls, they are both amazing!
• Favourite meal – Cheese!
• Dream Car – anything that isn’t too body-conscious, as guaranteed I will damage it
• Favourite band / artist – I love music, all types, old & new, because it totally depends on your mood and what you are doing.  If I don’t listen to the radio, I feel I’m “missing out”
